On which roads are draft, pack, or saddle animals and livestock allowed to travel?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Traffic regulations establish that the movement of animals is strictly prohibited on motorways and dual carriageways for safety reasons, because of the high speeds of vehicles on these roads. Consequently, animals may travel on all other roads (conventional and urban roads), provided they use the right shoulder (if passable and sufficient) or stay as close as possible to the right edge of the roadway. The option suggesting 'only on interurban roads' is incorrect, since they may also travel in built-up areas unless a specific sign prohibits it.
