Does the Class B permit authorize you to drive a self-propelled agricultural special vehicle?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is yes, provided they do not exceed the masses and dimensions established for ordinary vehicles. Detailed explanation: The General Rule: The Class B permit authorizes driving self-propelled agricultural special vehicles or sets of them (such as a tractor with a trailer). The Condition: For this permit to be valid without additional requirements, the vehicle must not exceed the mass or dimension limits established in the Vehicle Regulation for ordinary vehicles. Comparison with LVA License: The Agricultural Vehicle License (LVA) is for vehicles that do not exceed these limits and whose maximum speed is 45 km/h, but the Class B Permit is superior and encompasses what the LVA allows. Therefore, the option mentioning mass and dimension limits is the technically accurate one in this context.
