If, because of a breakdown, you are driving your car at an abnormally reduced speed on a motorway and disrupting traffic, what behavior must you adopt?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Traffic regulations state that if a vehicle of up to 3,500 kg (such as a passenger car) has an emergency and is forced to drive at an abnormally reduced speed (below 60 km/h on a motorway or dual carriageway), it must do so on the shoulder on its right if it disrupts traffic. In addition, for safety, it must leave the road by the first possible exit. It must not continue to a distant rest area or stop if the vehicle can still move, as the goal is to clear the high-speed road as soon as possible.
