In view of the R-310 sign indicating 'prohibited acoustic warnings', are you allowed to use the horn?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The R-310 sign generally prohibits the use of acoustic warnings (horn). However, General Traffic Regulations establish a universal safety exception: it is always permitted to use sound signals when strictly necessary to avoid a possible accident or collision. The other options are incorrect because heavy traffic does not justify its use, and the prohibition is not absolute due to the emergency exception.
