If you have held a Class B license for over a year and now obtain a Class A license, are you required to display the V-13 signal (L plate) on the motorcycle?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is NO. The V-13 plate (known as the 'L' plate) identifies novice drivers and is mandatory for the first year after obtaining your first driving license. Since you have held the Class B license for more than a year, you have already completed the novice driver period. Therefore, upon obtaining a new license (Class A), you do not need to display the L plate again. If the Class B license were less than a year old, you would have to display the L on the motorcycle only until that first year is completed.
