You have just obtained the class A1 license and do not hold any other license, must you display the novice driver identification plate?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Upon obtaining the first driving license, regardless of whether it is for a car or a motorcycle, the status of novice driver is acquired. During the first year, it is mandatory to display the L identification plate in a visible place at the rear of the vehicle. This sign warns other users that the driver has little experience behind the wheel or handlebars. This period should not be confused with that of the reduced blood alcohol limit. The stricter maximum alcohol limit for novices is maintained during the first two years of the license's validity.
