On vehicles less than one meter wide, how far can the load extend laterally?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The General Traffic Regulations (Art. 15) establish a specific rule for vehicles less than one meter wide (such as motorcycles and mopeds). The load may protrude laterally up to 0.50 meters on each side, measured from the longitudinal axis (the center) of the vehicle. This ensures balance and stability. It should not be confused with the general rule for other vehicles, where it is measured from the outer edges, nor with the 10% that applies to length on passenger cars.
