At a STOP sign, what behavior is mandatory to maintain, even if you observe that no vehicle is approaching on the cross street?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is to stop completely. The STOP sign (R-2) requires every driver to bring their vehicle to a complete halt at the stop line or, if none exists, immediately before the intersection. This stop must be total (wheels must stop turning), regardless of visibility or the absence of other vehicles. Simply reducing speed without stopping (treating it like a 'Yield') would mean failing the exam and committing an offense. Sounding the horn does not exempt you from the obligation to stop.
