What is the maximum permitted speed for a van with a maximum authorized mass (MAM) of 3,500 kg or less on a motorway?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is 90 km/h. According to the General Traffic Regulations, speed limits on motorways and dual carriageways depend on the type of vehicle: 90 km/h: For trucks, tractor units, vans and light vans, articulated vehicles and cars with trailers. 100 km/h: For buses, car-derived vehicles and adaptable dual-purpose vehicles. 120 km/h: For passenger cars and motorcycles. It is essential not to confuse a 'van' (intended for transporting goods) with a 'dual-purpose vehicle' or a 'car-derived vehicle', since the latter have a higher limit (100 km/h).
