Are you obliged to stop if you encounter a traffic accident where help is already organized?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

According to the General Traffic Regulations, every road user has the duty to assist (PAS conduct: Protect, Alert, Succor). However, this obligation ceases when help is already organized or the authorities and emergency services are already present at the scene. In this case, stopping without being asked would only hinder the work of the rescue teams and create new dangers (rubbernecking). Therefore, if you are not involved, you must continue on your way with caution.
