To refuel with complete safety, what measures must you take as mandatory?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

To minimize the risk of fire or explosion due to flammable fuel vapors, regulations are strict. You must stop the engine and cut the ignition. Furthermore, it is mandatory to switch off the lights, electrical equipment (such as the radio or navigation systems), and your mobile phone to prevent any electrical sparks or electromagnetic radiation. Engaging a gear serves to immobilize the car but does not prevent the risk of fire, making that answer incorrect.
