What maximum speed limits must drivers who have held their driving license for less than two years respect?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is that they can drive at the same maximum speeds established for all drivers. Since 2011, the specific 80 km/h limit for new drivers in Spain was abolished. Therefore, a newly qualified driver is subject to the same general and specific speed limits as other road users, depending on the type of road and the vehicle they are driving. Important note: Do not confuse this with the blood alcohol limit, which is indeed stricter during the first two years, nor with the obligation to display the V-13 ('L') plate, which is mandatory for the first year.
