As a general rule, when riding at night on an insufficiently lit road outside a built-up area at more than 40 km/h, you must use the high beam lighting. This rule also applies at any time of the day when passing through insufficiently lit tunnels or underpasses. However, we must switch to the low beam if there is a risk of dazzling other road users. Maintaining good visibility is essential for safety.
