On a motorway or dual carriageway, below what limit is a car considered to be driving at an abnormally reduced speed?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

According to General Traffic Regulations, on motorways and dual carriageways, the generic maximum speed for cars is 120 km/h. It is established that driving at a speed lower than 60 kilometers per hour is considered abnormally reduced speed. This is prohibited unless there is a justified cause (such as heavy traffic, adverse weather conditions, or steep uphill gradients for heavy vehicles), as such a large speed difference relative to the normal flow drastically increases the risk of rear-end collisions. Therefore, the correct answer is less than 60 km/h, not 70 km/h, and it is a fixed value, not dependent on the vehicle's specific maximum.
