A driver obtained their license three years ago and has not committed any point-deducting violations. What is their current point balance?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The Points-Based License system assigns an initial balance of 8 points to novice drivers. The regulations state that if two years pass without the driver being sanctioned with point deductions, their balance automatically increases to 12 points. Since this driver has held the license for three years (exceeding the required two) with a clean record, they have already received this bonus and hold 12 points. Reaching 14 points would require another three years of good conduct while holding the 12-point balance.
