Traffic regulations state that any vehicle immobilized due to an emergency must make itself visible immediately. To do this, it is mandatory to switch on the hazard warning lights if the vehicle is equipped with them. Additionally, the V-16 connected luminous signal must be placed on the highest part of the vehicle, without leaving the cabin, to warn other users and send the geolocation to the DGT (the use of warning triangles is prohibited). If the immobilization occurs at night or in conditions of reduced visibility, the position (parking) lights and clearance lights, if applicable, must also be kept on. Leaving the car unsignaled poses a serious risk of an accident.
