As a general rule, inside a roundabout or rotary traffic intersection, is overtaking permitted?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Yes, it is permitted. The general rule prohibits overtaking at intersections and their approaches; however, roundabouts are an explicit exception to this rule. Therefore, you are allowed to overtake other vehicles inside the roundabout, generally on the left, provided it is done under safe conditions and respecting the priority of those already circulating. The option suggesting 'only on the right' is incorrect because standard overtaking is done on the left, except for specific situations in urban areas with marked lanes.
