You are considered a novice driver during the first year of the first driving license you obtain. If you already have a license that is more than a year old, you will no longer be considered a novice when obtaining another license. In this case, the driver has held the A1 license for two years. Therefore, upon obtaining the A2 license, it will not be necessary to display the L plate on the motorcycle. Furthermore, the general blood alcohol limit will apply, since more than two years have passed since the first license was obtained.
