Where must the rear license plate be placed on a motorcycle with a sidecar?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Motorcycles with a sidecar are considered asymmetric three-wheeled vehicles. According to General Vehicle Regulations, they must display a single license plate at the rear. The correct answer is 'between the two rear wheels,' referring to the location on the vehicle's rear transverse plane (between the motorcycle's rear wheel and the sidecar wheel), usually attached to the motorcycle's frame or rear fender. It must never be installed on the front (as was done on some vintage motorcycles for aesthetics) nor in positions that hinder its visibility and illumination.
