In which situation is a bus driver obliged to use a reflective vest on interurban roads?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The General Traffic Regulations establish that bus drivers (as well as drivers of cars, trucks, and mixed vehicles) must carry a duly approved high-visibility reflective vest. Its use is mandatory whenever the driver exits the vehicle and occupies the roadway or shoulder on interurban roads (outside built-up areas). The goal is to be visible to other drivers from a minimum distance of 150 meters. The number of passengers or the size of the bus does not exempt the driver from this obligation, as it is a vital personal safety measure to prevent being run over.
