When the green light of a pedestrian traffic light starts flashing intermittently, what exactly does it indicate?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

A flashing green light in the shape of a pedestrian indicates that the safe crossing time is about to end and that the red light will appear imminently. The rule establishes two behaviors depending on the pedestrian's position: 1) If the pedestrian has already started crossing, they must hurry to finish crossing safely as soon as possible. 2) If the pedestrian is still on the sidewalk or refuge and has not started crossing, they must not enter the roadway, as they will not have enough time to reach the other side before it turns red and traffic opens for vehicles.
