On which type of roads are mopeds generally prohibited from circulating?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is on motorways and expressways. Mopeds have a maximum construction speed limited to 45 km/h. Since traffic regulations establish a minimum speed of 60 km/h for driving on motorways and expressways, mopeds cannot meet this safety requirement. Driving on these fast roads with such a slow vehicle would pose a serious danger and obstruction to other road users. They must drive on conventional roads (using the shoulder if passable and sufficient) or urban roads.
