Is it permitted for two mopeds to ride in a parallel position (two abreast) on the shoulder?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

As a general rule, mopeds must drive on the shoulder to their right if it is passable and sufficient, and they must do so in single file. However, traffic regulations allow an exception: they may ride side by side (two abreast) exceptionally, provided that the shoulder is passable and wide enough, and most importantly, that they do not invade the main roadway (calzada). If the shoulder is narrow or they invade the lane intended for other vehicles, they must ride single file.
