Is it allowed to use wireless devices integrated into the helmet for communication or navigation purposes when riding a motorcycle?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is yes, provided they are certified or homologated devices for the protective helmet. According to Traffic Law, driving while using headphones or headsets connected to sound devices is generally prohibited. However, there is a specific exception for motorcycles and mopeds: the use of wireless devices that are certified or homologated for installation in the helmet is allowed for communication or navigation purposes, provided they do not jeopardize driving safety. The other answers are incorrect because simply being 'hands-free' is not enough (they cannot be inserted into the ear canal isolating external sound), and there is indeed a strict regulation regarding their use.
