What is the minimum length a vehicle must have for parking lights to be mandatory?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is 6 meters. According to traffic regulations and the General Vehicle Regulations, parking lights are mandatory for any vehicle with a length exceeding 6 meters or a width exceeding 2 meters. For vehicles that do not exceed these dimensions, such as most passenger cars (which are usually around 4 meters), their installation is optional. This light allows signaling the presence of a parked vehicle in an urban area without needing to turn on all position lights, thus consuming less battery.
