If your car is immobilized due to an emergency and you choose to use the luminous signal (V-16), where should the device be placed?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Traffic regulations establish the connected V-16 device (rotating yellow light) as the only mandatory warning system in effect since 2026, permanently replacing the old triangles. The correct answer states that this luminous device must be placed on the highest possible part of the immobilized vehicle (usually the metal roof, thanks to its magnetic base). This allows: 1) Not having to exit the vehicle to place it, increasing safety. 2) Ensuring 360-degree visibility. Hazard lights (the 4 flashers) must also be turned on, but they do not replace the V-16 signal.
