Who is responsible for infractions committed against traffic regulations?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

According to Traffic Law, responsibility for infractions falls directly on the author of the act, that is, the person committing the illegal action (in this case, the driver). Although there are administrative exceptions (such as lack of insurance or MOT, which fall on the owner) or joint pecuniary responsibilities (parents of minors who must pay the fine), the responsibility for the infringing conduct belongs 'always to the driver causing' it.
