As a general rule, on roads with more than one lane for the same direction, we must drive in the rightmost lane. Once an overtaking maneuver is finished, it is mandatory to move back to that lane. We can only stay in the left lane if we are preparing to perform a new overtaking maneuver without obstructing other vehicles.
