Is it allowed to ride on public roads with a motorcycle that has an open exhaust (without an explosion silencer)?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Definitely no. Riding with an open exhaust means driving without the explosion silencing device or with one that has been modified to nullify its effectiveness. This is strictly prohibited on both urban and interurban roads. The General Traffic Regulations and vehicle standards establish that all motor vehicles must have an exhaust system capable of silencing engine explosions to prevent noise pollution and avoid disturbing other users or residents. Riding without it not only results in a fine, but traffic officers can also immobilize the vehicle if noise levels exceed regulatory limits.
