Can you cross an intersection controlled by a green traffic light if a traffic officer orders you to stop?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is no, you must follow the officer's order. Traffic regulations establish a hierarchy of priority among signals. Orders given by traffic officers rank first and prevail over all other rules and signals (including traffic lights), even when they appear to be contradictory. The hierarchy is: Officers, Temporary signaling, Traffic lights, Vertical signs, Road markings.
