What does a traffic officer indicate when holding their arms extended horizontally?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

According to General Traffic Regulations, when an officer extends an arm or arms horizontally, it obliges all road users approaching from directions intersecting the direction of the arm(s) to stop. This signal has the same validity as a red traffic light. A crucial detail for the exam is to remember that the order to stop remains in effect even if the officer lowers their arms, provided they do not change position or make a different signal.
