What do the rear signs on this truck, consisting of orange panels and a yellow rectangular plate with a red border, indicate?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is that the vehicle is transporting dangerous goods and its length exceeds 12 meters. This is determined by the combination of two specific signs regulated in the General Vehicle Regulations: V-6 Sign (Long Vehicle): This is the rectangular plate with a yellow background and red border (or alternatively two smaller plates at the edges). It indicates that the vehicle or combination of vehicles is longer than 12 meters. Orange Panels (Related to V-11): These identify the transport unit carrying dangerous goods. They may display numbers (hazard identification and substance ID) or be blank. Why the other options are incorrect: Transport of live animals is indicated by a specific blue plate featuring an animal figure (Sign V-10). Authorization for reserved lanes depends on road signage and vehicle type, not on these specific rear plates.
