Is it permitted to perform a U-turn maneuver at a railway crossing?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

No, it is strictly prohibited. According to General Traffic Regulations, performing a U-turn is forbidden at railway crossings due to the extreme danger involved in maneuvering on train tracks. It is also prohibited in tunnels, underpasses, and road sections affected by the 'Tunnel' sign. Important note: In the 'vicinity' of a railway crossing, it might be allowed only if visibility is sufficient and traffic is not obstructed; however, 'on' the crossing itself, the prohibition is absolute.
