On which part of the vehicle must the V-13 signal (the 'L' plate) identifying a novice driver be placed?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Regulations (General Vehicle Regulations) state that the V-13 signal must be placed on the rear left side of the vehicle, in a visible location (usually on the rear window). Why there? Visibility: Since traffic drives on the right, the left side is most visible to vehicles approaching from behind, especially when they begin an overtaking maneuver. Non-obstruction: It must not obscure the license plate or lighting systems. The options suggesting 'on the right' or 'next to the front plate' are incorrect, as the warning is intended exclusively for those approaching from the rear, and the left position guarantees maximum visibility.
