What does a zigzag yellow road marking painted on the edge of the carriageway generally indicate?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The yellow zigzag marking (V-12) indicates that the spot is reserved for special use and parking is prohibited for general vehicles. While momentary stopping is allowed in loading zones, this marking is frequently used to mark bus stops. Specifically at bus stops, both stopping and parking are prohibited for all other vehicles to avoid obstructing public transport. Therefore, as a reserved zone, strictly occupying the space is forbidden.
