As a general rule, on which side must people enter and exit a vehicle?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

For road safety reasons, regulations state that occupants must enter and exit on the side closest to the sidewalk or the edge of the road. This prevents pedestrians from stepping onto the roadway, reducing the risk of being hit by other vehicles moving on the road. Furthermore, it is forbidden to open doors or alight from the vehicle before it has come to a complete stop and without first ensuring that doing so involves no danger.
