What does a downward-pointing green arrow on a lane traffic light indicate?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

This signal, typical of lane usage traffic lights, authorizes driving in the lane over which it is located. It is very important to remember that this green light does not grant right of way over other users (for example, those merging into the lane), nor does it exempt the driver from the obligation to stop at a circular red light or comply with other traffic signs (such as speed limits or STOP signs) that may exist in that same lane.
