If a traffic sign dictates a behavior different from the general traffic rules, what must the driver obey?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

In the order of precedence for signaling, specific signs always take priority over general traffic rules. This is because general rules (such as priority for vehicles approaching from the right) apply by default, but signs are placed to regulate specific situations requiring specific behavior. The correct answer is to obey the sign, unless a Traffic Officer orders otherwise, as officers hold the highest position in the hierarchy (above beacons, traffic lights, vertical signs, and road markings).
