The correct answer is yes, but only if the photocopy is duly certified (compulsada).  According to current regulations in Spain, drivers must carry their original driving license. However, a photocopy is accepted as valid if it has been verified and stamped (certified) by a competent official body (Traffic Headquarters, Town Halls, Administration bodies, or notaries), proving it is a true copy of the original. Analysis of the options: Only in color: Incorrect. Color does not grant legal validity; a color photocopy without certification has no value before traffic officers. No: Incorrect, because the legal exception for certified copies exists. Additional note: Currently, the digital driving license in the official miDGT app is also fully legally valid within national territory.
