In the event that a driver loses their driving license, what is the correct course of action?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

If your driving license is lost, stolen, or damaged, you must request a duplicate from the Provincial or Local Traffic Headquarters. This duplicate will have the same validity and expiration date as the original. It is incorrect to assume that a simple photocopy allows you to drive (only certified copies have limited validity, and in case of loss, the original must be replaced). Nor is it necessary to retake the exams, as the driver retains their psychophysical aptitudes and the administrative validity of the license; only the physical document has been lost.
