On interurban roads, when conditions require the use of lighting (at night, going through tunnels, or in adverse weather conditions), cyclists are required to wear an approved reflective garment. This garment implies safety gear that allows other drivers to distinguish them from a distance of 150 meters to ensure their safety as vulnerable road users.
