What behavior should you adopt if you encounter a traffic light with a flashing yellow light?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

A flashing yellow light (or two alternating yellow lights) does not forbid passing but requires extreme caution. It indicates that the driver must approach with care and yield the right of way to vehicles traveling on the cross street and to pedestrians crossing. Unlike a fixed yellow light, which requires stopping if it can be done safely, the flashing light allows you to proceed as long as priority rules are respected.
