What does it indicate if a traffic officer displays a red flag from their vehicle?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is that the road is temporarily closed to traffic. According to Traffic Regulations, a red flag displayed by an officer from a vehicle indicates that, following the passing of said vehicle, the road is completely closed to traffic for all users, except for those being escorted by the officer. This prohibition remains in effect until a police vehicle with a green flag passes (indicating the road is open again). A yellow flag, on the other hand, would indicate caution due to approaching danger, but not a road closure.
