Is it permitted to drive with sunshades installed on the rear windows of a car?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is yes, but there is an essential condition: the vehicle must be equipped with two exterior rear-view mirrors (one on the left and one on the right). Detailed explanation: The rule: Vehicle Regulations allow for reduced visibility through the rear window and rear side windows (using sunshades, adhesive films, or tints) as long as the loss of direct vision or vision through the interior mirror is compensated. The condition: To compensate for the lack of interior rear visibility, it becomes mandatory to have the right exterior rear-view mirror installed (in addition to the left one, which is always mandatory). Prohibitions: Sunshades must never be placed on the front side windows or the windshield, as they would obstruct the driver's direct vision.
