Yes, it is mandatory to warn other road users and prevent accidents. Regulations require the use of a danger pre-signaling device. Currently, two systems are legal:  The V-16 flashing light: An amber beacon placed on the vehicle's roof (mandatory from 2026, currently recommended).  Warning triangles: Valid until December 31, 2025 (except on highways where placing them is no longer mandatory if it poses a risk). Additionally, you must turn on the hazard warning lights (all four indicators) and, if visibility is poor or it is night, the position lights. The incorrect answers are wrong because the rule applies to all motor vehicles (not just trucks) and on all types of roads, not just highways.
