Are there vertical traffic signs specifically intended for road construction zones?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Yes, there are specific signs. The most representative is the warning sign P-18 (Roadworks), which warns of the proximity of a section under construction. Furthermore, regulations state that vertical signs used in work zones must have a yellow background to indicate their temporary nature and distinguish them from permanent signs (which usually have a white background for warning and prohibition signs). The yellow color increases visibility and alerts the driver to an anomalous situation on the road. Therefore, they are not identical to the usual ones due to the color change, nor do they have a red background (red is generally limited to the border of the signs).
