What does a yellow flag used by authorized personnel on the road indicate?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Signals given by authorized personnel (such as road workers) regulate traffic in abnormal situations. A yellow flag indicates the proximity of danger and the need to exercise extreme caution. Unlike a red flag, which indicates that the road is temporarily closed to traffic, the yellow flag allows passage but requires maximum alertness and a reduction in speed. It does not explicitly force a lane change, although the dangerous situation might eventually require it.
