Where must the registration of a special vehicle be requested in order for it to circulate on public roads?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Every special vehicle, whether self-propelled or towed, suitable for circulation on public roads must be registered. This administrative procedure is carried out at the Provincial Traffic Headquarters (Jefatura Provincial de Tráfico) corresponding to the legal domicile of the vehicle owner. It is important not to confuse this with the place of purchase (the store or dealership, which only acts as an intermediary manager) or with the DGT headquarters, as registration procedures and the issuance of circulation permits are delegated to the Provincial Headquarters.
