Unless signs indicate otherwise, where must bicycles travel when using a dual carriageway?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Although non-motorized vehicles are generally prohibited from using motorways and dual carriageways, there is a specific exception for bicycles on dual carriageways. Cyclists over 14 years of age may ride on the shoulders of dual carriageways, unless a sign expressly prohibits it for safety reasons. Detailed explanation: On the shoulder (Correct): The rule states that they must travel strictly on the shoulder, without encroaching on the roadway under any circumstances, so as not to obstruct fast-moving traffic. In the right lane (Incorrect): The lanes of the roadway are reserved for motor vehicles that reach minimum speeds of 60 km/h. A bicycle on the roadway would pose a serious risk. Any lane (Incorrect): This is completely prohibited because of the speed difference with the rest of the traffic.
