If you are driving in a lane marked on both sides by double broken lines, what rules must you mandatorily follow?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

A lane marked on both sides by double broken lines is a reversible lane. In these lanes, traffic may be regulated in one direction or the other by square traffic lights or other means. When driving in a reversible lane, you must follow these rules: Lighting: You must have your low beam (short-range) headlights on both day and night. Position: You must not encroach on the lane to the left of the reversible lane (usually intended for oncoming traffic). Speed: The speed is the general speed limit for the road. The restriction of 60 min / 80 max km/h generally applies to 'contraflow lanes', not necessarily to urban reversible lanes. Therefore, the correct answer is to switch on the low beam and not encroach on the left lane.
